Internship at Wuhan TV Station

This winter vacation, I returned to my hometown to work in Wuhan Broadcast & Television Sta
tion as an intern. The TV station was looking for some new interns who majored in advertisement, media,news, E-Commerce, marketing, or relatively. It was just related to my major. I worked around 2 weeks at here. During this time, I worked in advertising department to organize and design various schemes for marketing activities. And sometimes, I followed photography department to report a series of news events.
I worked 5 hours each day to cooperate with marketing department to organize and design various schemes for marketing activities, work out and hand in feasible report of marketing activities according to the dept manager and management system. Meanwhile, I followed photography department to go to spots with news photographers and reporters to take some photos and broadcast the interview live, including annual Wuhan Crossing the Yangtze River Festival and the children fire fighting knowledge lecture.
I always believed that works in media is interesting and meaningful as a communication major. And the industry usually requires more practical experience and a great deal of cooperation to work. If complete the internship at Wuhan TV Station, Then this project will improves my leadership to rally my future partners for our common cause and sets me apart from others in my major because I will own more work experience than others. This is a great chance to have some information to use to make decisions about my own career path. And I could know more knowledge about marketing promotion campaign and the processes of news production.
I meant to work for marketing department and photography department to get varied experience. But I was only able to complete mainly work for marketing department of the goal because of I haven’t enough time. Sometimes I have to arrive to the scene of the news, it’s hard to take bus or subway and search the best route in advance. Fortunately I got my parents’ help to drive me to there. And I always have to remember to take my camera and get ready to take the shot at any time because I never know when news will happen.
As a student majored in Communication, I used my professional knowledge of communication to organize and design various schemes for marketing activities in advertising department. By completing working for marketing department, my planning scheme of the activity for Wuhan City Square achieved success in the bid. And by completing working for photography department goal, I followed photography department to go to spots with news photographers and helped reporters to take some photos and broadcast the interview live.
When I finished my internship, I found I'm interested in working in media industry. In the future I might still work in this area. I got many opportunities to improve my leadership according to cooperate with my colleagues to finish our project together. By completing working for marketing department,I have rich work experience about marketing promotion campaign. And by completing working for photography department goal, I know more knowledge about news photography the process of news production. I could be able to use this experience to secure full-time work at Wuhan TV Station or another company when I graduate.
